The earpiece rotates 180 degrees for left or right ear wear, and the foam cushion is replaceable when it reaches end of life. During movement—standing, walking to a filing cabinet, leaning back in your chair—the hook maintains contact without shifting or requiring readjustment. Desk phone compatibility and setup
The CS530 connects to analog and digital desk phones through one of two methods. For phones with a dedicated headset port, we include an EHS (Electronic Hook Switch) cable that plugs directly into the phone and the headset base. This cable lets you answer and end calls using the button on the CS530 headset itself, without lifting the handset.
For phones without EHS support, the system uses our HL10 handset lifter—a motorized arm that physically raises and lowers the handset when you press the headset button. The HL10 ships separately and mounts to your phone with an adhesive pad. Setup takes under five minutes: plug the base into power, connect the phone interface cable, pair the headset by docking it, and you’re live.
