Both buds include microphones, so call quality is consistent whether you use one or both.
Start with the pre-installed medium tips. If the earbuds feel loose or you hear thin bass, try the large tips for a tighter seal. If you feel pressure or the loop doesn’t sit flush, switch to small tips. The correct fit creates gentle suction when you press the earbud in, but doesn’t cause discomfort after 10 minutes of wear. Most users find their ideal size within two tries.
The IP57 rating certifies submersion in one meter of fresh water for 30 minutes, so brief accidental drops in a pool or lake won’t damage them. However, we don’t recommend wearing them while swimming — Bluetooth signals don’t transmit well underwater, and the Always Aware vent isn’t optimized for submerged use. Gym lockers and metal walls reduce that range, but most users report solid performance when their phone is 15–20 feet away with one or two walls in between.
